Phil Downie joins from JP Morgan

Blackfinch Property has hired Phil Downie to join its expanding team as it continues to support developers across the UK with access to loan facilities. Phil will be responsible for enhancing the team’s capability and capacity to manage additional loans.

Phil joins Blackfinch after spending two years as an Associate with JP Morgan, where he worked in the Investment Banking and Real Estate Structured Finance teams. Phil also previously worked at Empiric Student Property Plc and Aviva Investors. He holds a BSc in Geography from the University of Manchester and an Executive Master’s in Real Estate from Cambridge University, as well as the Investment Management Certificate and the Certificate in Corporate Finance from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
